Prashant Shah is Managing Director at TiE LaunchPad. He has been an early stage venture investor since 2001. He is an active Charter Member of TiE Silicon Valley (www.tiesv.org) and a member of its Board of Directors. He also helped launch TiE Angels and is on its Steering Committee. Previously, he spent nearly 10 years at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and was instrumental in many investments including Baynote, Bridgestream, Cenzic, InMage, Jareva Technologies, Krillion, Pancetera, Scalent, and Voltage Security. Prior to Hummer Winblad, Prashant spent many years defining and launching high tech products. His background spans all seven layers of the OSI stack with product management roles at enCommerce (acquired by Entrust), Cypress Semiconductor and AT&T. In addition, he was on the Board of Trustees for Astia (www.astia.org) from July 2007 to April 2011. Prashant received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Jennifer Vancini is Managing Partner Pointgrey Partners. Jen brings over 20 years of experience in the technology industry to her management of Pointgrey Partners and as a partner in The Angels Forum. She has worked with startups, mid-sized companies and global multi-nationals and has an extensive background in business and corporate development. Jen has held roles with Price Waterhouse, Certicom (acquired by RIM), Symbian (acquired by Nokia), the open source Symbian Foundation, and Vasco Data Security. Prior to focusing on Pointgrey, Jen sourced, negotiated and executed strategic and global deals for Telefonica’s European and Latin American businesses.

Terri Mead is an active angel investor and Vice President of Sand Hill Angels in the Silicon Valley. Terri regularly advises startups on their pitches, business strategy and connecting with the right people. Terri focuses on investing in companies that have products or services that improve peoples’ lives including MyHealthTeams, Sandstone Diagnostics, TomboyX, Zum, Tactical Haptics, and most recently Tueo Health. She is passionate about supporting, and advocating for, female founders and investors.
