Don Butler, Managing Director Thomvest @NoPanels Summer 2014. Thomvest are primarily focused on Early Stage to Growth Stage, Series A or Series B & C. They are heavily focused on 3 verticals, that is Adtech, Fintech & Enterprise Software. He mainly focuses on the team & what they are bringing that is unique. Because of the investing they are doing, they tend to know whether it is going to deliver on user value. If they think for example in Adtech that something is going to enhance the value of your media buy for a big brand they know that is something that customers will like & they like. With the growth in angel funding they see that a fund that can come in on Series A, B or C particularly at the very beginning. In terms of the vertical focus they have, they continue to see a lot that is interesting in AdTech. In terms of financial technologies there is a revolution that is going on right now where software is eating away @the banking world. That’s a trend that will continue for some time now.
